Colwyn Foulkes developed a new manufacturing facility for the luxury goods maker, Mulberry.
Situated in the rolling hills of Somerset, the subtle, variegated tones of the building reflect the mercurial skies of its surroundings.
This new factory has doubled the production capacity of Mulberry in the UK. A social site, as well as a commercial one, the building serves to be a central environment for an additional 320 skilled workers. The workforce has either been trained by Mulberry in the local Technical college, or have been previously locally unemployed.
The new team could move into the facility only 6 months after the construction commenced in December 2012.
The government helped with funding the project, and the new factory was opened by Nick Clegg in February 2014.
